Client Checklist
Executor Approval:
Executor of Estate must approve and sign all contracts and documentation related to hiring and utilizing Moving On Estate Sales and its services.
Family Removal:
Have all family members complete a walkthrough of the home and remove all items not intended for sale.
HOA Communication:
Contact HOA (if applicable) to confirm approval for hosting an estate sale and inquire about any relevant rules regarding signage, parking, and hosting procedures. Inform Moving On Estate Sales of any specific HOA regulations.
Client Comfort:
While we understand the emotional nature of this process, for the comfort of our clients and shoppers, we kindly request that clients not be present during the sale days. This allows shoppers to feel more at ease and browse at their leisure.
Pricing & Preparation:
Leave the item setup and pricing to us! Similar to how you wouldn't clean before a house cleaning service arrives, there's no need to prepare items yourself. This is our expertise - we handle everything from immaculate estates to hoards, without judgment. Trust our experience and knowledge of the market to get the best results.
Remote Services:

Property Requirements:
The home must have functioning power, plumbing, heating/cooling systems, and accessible restrooms for the duration of the sale.
Disposal and Donation:
Please refrain from throwing away or donating any items after deciding to hold a sale. Our experience shows that clients often underestimate the value of seemingly ordinary items. Trust our team to assess the market potential of all items and maximize your profits. Donation can be considered after the sale is complete.
